Thanksgiving

We were sad to find that the roads were too bad for us to head to Washington for Thanksgiving. Instead, we headed toward Bear Lake on Wednesday afternoon. It took us twice the time it usually does because the roads were so bad, but we finally made it. We had dinner at my Grandma Fisher's house with my family, Lindsay Grandparents, and the missionaries. It was a fun time, and we're hoping we can get to Washington over New Year's. :)

Snow, Projects, and Disappointment

Well, we got up early this morning to get ready to go and Mike found that the roads to Washington were too bad for us to get there today. We're hoping maybe tomorrow or Wednesday, we'll see.
Tonight this is what it looks like outside our door. Yes, I'm an Idaho girl and I realize this isn't that much snow, but it is snowier than it looks in these pictures, the man that takes care of snow removal at our complex is just too efficient for me to get a good picture from inside our apartment!
And considering the fact that I walked across dry lawn 3 or 4 days ago, this is pretty good!

This is what we did instead of heading off to Washington today, we worked on Mike's huge project for one of his Child Development classes. It was really kind of fun actually! This is when we were making origami frogs.

Thanksgiving

Today my visiting teachers came to visit me and for the lesson we watched the Thanksgiving Mormon Ad. It's so good and it's not very long, so you should take a minute and watch it, it really reminded me of the purpose for Thanksgiving.

Oregon

For our honeymoon, we went to Oregon. It was so fun! We stayed in the cutest little bed and breakfast right by the coast and went for hikes and visited Tillamook and stuff.
Here's some of the windmills we passed on our way through Oregon. It was a pretty long road trip, so I sometimes occupied myself by taking pictures of whatever was going by. Haha!
The Air Museum in Tillamook. It was so neat!
